The list below has proven itself to be invaluable, if sometimes a bit outdated. -On retrospect, everytime my life becomes a pool of turmoil this page becomes hopelessly outdated ;]. The malingering question remains: why I make all this information public when it's mostly only useful to me. Availability and accountability (to myself).
Concert Update: ( Semi-Permanent Feature-?- ;] )

- Convergence V. Allright, got a link that works and tons of information. -So sad. Convergence 5 AND 6 would go on without me. I really have to wonder.. well no, I do NOT have to wonder, outside circumstances weighed heavily AGAINST my involvement in anything other than holding myself together. But if I felt like being introspective. Perhaps I wonder about my tolerance of the whole woe me scene. (And there, I used the abused word for once).
- Shows to look forward to: Clan Of Xymox, Current 93, Death in June. -As an update, I'd like to see Funker Vogt, Skif Dank,
- Bauhaus at the McCaffey Theatre acoustics were excellent and they surprised me by playing The Passenger (So I had to boogie).
- Blink 182 / Unwritten Law was also fun; different fun. Fun in a sweaty loud kind of way.
- The Warped Tour 98! and the Lilith Fair! were so close together in the same location (Fairground @ Orlando) that it felt like a double bill. I like variety.
- Front 242 @ the ledge was a whole lot more fun than it should have been.. than I thought it would be. The techno-ified front is apparently much better live than it used to be. Fun aggro show regardless. Too bad a friend of a friend got arrested. Project Pitchfork was disappointing to say the least. -And it's strange, Project Pitchfork is more than bearable from a studio perspective.
-
- Skif Dank has a number of dates for June 2000.. I missed two of them so far. Jacksonville, June 17 w/ Gargamel and FenWicks.
- FUNKER VOGT 9pm July 16th, 2000 at Das Maschine Orlando, FL. Apparently one of only *2* US shows. $15 21up $18 20under
- Warped Tour 2000 is coming up, I think Mick would be most interested on this one.
- Ozzfest 2000. This has Almeister written all over it. I might go because of ministry. We'll see.
- Blading.- I like this, I'm starting to get more rolling-time. Of course, that automatically implies falling time but nothing serious. I wish I knew of a smaller bowl around the area to practice on.. -And I have been slacking as well. My cohort on this enterprise had an injured hind leg for a while, so that didn't help, but I haven't even been trying. Grr.
- Working out - The facilities at my new job have made this a delight, I'm usually seen at the gym (About 100 feet from my desk) three times a week, for about an hour. My body is coming back to me, even though I'm only at 5'11", 165lbs.
- Basketball.- I don't play at the USF basketball courts anymore, but Joe (my sister's bfriend) has been inviting me over to play at his indoor court. (Neato apartment complex).
- Writing and emotional masturbation.- I think I'm relenting the last bits of what used to be my soul in writing from what I feel. -Perhaps I can compromise and be honest WITHIN the characters. I still think it's like emotional masturbation but I suppose I can live with it. I've done worse I'm sure. And now I'm in no.time.land, but that's ok. I WILL pick up a pen again.
- Music.- Slowly but surely I'm taking on other projects and leaving the fun ones by the wayside. hehe. The more things change.
- The Vehicle.- After its last major repair, I'm now in the market for sure. Considering Jettas and Cabrios. 94+ 30,000miles and less. -Apparently not everything stays the same. I'm now the proud owner of a Nissan 97 200SX with about 50k, it's black, it has the count (sesame street count, the count) hanging from the rearview a la gawth millenium falcon -it's fitting. And the car is FUN.
